Where It Started

When Voxe AI started working with Clean Cut Painting & Handyman, the company was already successful. It was bringing in about $5 million a year.

The challenge wasn't whether the business could sell. It was building the capacity to keep growing without letting leads, customer communication, and repeat work turn into bottlenecks.

For more than two years, Voxe has worked alongside owner Colby Geiser and the Clean Cut team to build AI and smart automation into key parts of the customer journey.

$10M

Revenue this year (about)

Today, Clean Cut is closing out the year at about $10 million in revenue. That's roughly twice what the company made when it started working with Voxe. Colby has named Voxe AI as a key contributor to that growth.

To be clear, Voxe doesn't claim all the credit. Colby and the team built the company, sold the work, served their customers, hired people, and carried out the vision. Voxe helped make the machine behind that growth more capable.

The Challenge

As a growing home services business, Clean Cut was handling more and more:

  • Inbound calls
  • New leads
  • Estimate opportunities
  • Customer questions
  • Follow-up
  • Customer nurture
  • Scheduling
  • Old leads worth reviving
  • Customer service messages

More growth meant more communication and more work. Without the right systems, that can lead to:

  • Missed opportunities
  • Slow responses
  • Follow-up that slips
  • Overloaded staff
  • Old leads that get forgotten
  • Customers waiting for answers

The goal wasn't just to automate tasks. It was to create more capacity.

What Voxe Built

Over time, Voxe AI has helped Clean Cut build a growing Human + AI system across the business.

Two AI voice agents

Clean Cut runs Voxe AI voice agents at both of its locations. They help the company handle more inbound calls while supporting the human team.

Inbound lead automation

Voxe automated big parts of the inbound lead process, so opportunities move through the business more consistently, with less manual work.

Customer nurture

Automated follow-up keeps in touch with prospects and customers, instead of depending on employees to remember every follow-up.

Customer service

AI-supported workflows help the company answer customer needs while taking repeat messages off the team.

Lead reactivation

Older leads get re-engaged on a schedule instead of sitting untouched in a database. That turns an existing lead list into an active business asset.

A Real-World Example

In the first week of one of Clean Cut's AI receptionist launches, the system helped capture:

Estimate opportunities

$32K

In potential revenue

That shows why fast answers matter in a service business. When someone is ready to hire, the business that responds has the advantage.

The Result

$5M

Yearly revenue when Voxe started (about)

$10M

Yearly revenue today (about)

Over that same time, Voxe became part of more and more of the company's:

  • Inbound communication
  • Lead management
  • Customer nurture
  • Customer service
  • Lead reactivation
  • Day-to-day workflows

The result isn't just a company using AI. It's a company steadily building more capacity into the business itself.

The Human Result

The most important part of the Clean Cut story isn't an AI agent answering a phone. It's what happens when dozens of repeat tasks stop depending on someone's memory and free time.

Clean Cut's people can spend more time:

  • Helping customers
  • Managing projects
  • Selling
  • Making decisions
  • Solving problems
  • Leading the company

Meanwhile, AI and automation handle the repeat work underneath. That's the Voxe model:

Humans lead. AI expands capacity.

From Colby

At the time I started to work with Voxe, the challenge I was dealing with at the moment was finding a good marketing agency. As my business began to grow and evolve, Voxe Marketing also did too, into Voxe AI. And so not only has Voxe been able to help us with our marketing needs and to improve results there, but they've also pivoted into helping out with automations, using AI to help us be more efficient.

We're a data-driven company, so I look at cost per lead, and our cost per lead has decreased over the years. So we've been able to grow and scale with less manpower and less management. And so our people that were doing the mundane tasks are now managing AI, or AI agents, to do those same types of tasks. The positions in our firm are still there. It's just their scope of work has changed.

Matt and his team are extremely helpful. They're just good human beings. They care, and they want their clients to do well. They're really good about making changes and pivoting with you in real time. Their communication is awesome.

Build More. Grind Less.

Clean Cut didn't grow because AI replaced the people who built the company. It grew because a strong company kept becoming more capable. That's what AI should do.
